During the racing week on 23rd of April, reflecting the real racing conditions a large-scale training with the main and backup marshals was held at the Baku City Circuit. The performance and experience of the marshals were checked based on the crash conditions and dangerous moments that could be occurred during race weekend. The Board, as well as FiA and Formula 1 representatives assessed the results of the large-scale training positively.
